A concentrated and beautifully structured Portuguese red blend, featuring intense notes of mature red fruit, hints of violet, and herbaceous nuances that carry through to a lingering finish.
Quinta do Vallado, established in 1716, is one of the oldest and most renowned estates in the Douro Valley. Located on the banks of the River Corgo near Peso da Régua, it was once owned by the legendary Dona Antónia Adelaide Ferreira and remains in the hands of her descendants, João and Francisco. Originally known for producing fine Port, the estate began diversifying in the 1990s to produce dry red, white, and rosé wines. Today, Quinta do Vallado has a mix of old vines and organic vineyards, totaling 100 hectares.
