Saint Cosme Saint Joseph

Steeped in history, Château de Saint Cosme has been in the Barruol family for over 500 years, nestled in the Gigondas appellation of the southern Rhône. In 1992, Louis Barruol, the fourteenth-generation winemaker, took over the estate and is now regarded as one of the Rhône Valley’s most respected winemakers, affectionately known as the ‘Genius of Gigondas.’ Louis highlights the region’s great potential with his parcellaire cuvées from old-vine plots, while also mastering terroirs through small batch fermentations, producing pure wines with personality and balance.
